Alpinestars Tech 10 Boots
For more than a decade, the Alpinestars Tech 10 has set the bar for Motocross boot performance and protection, and the revamped Tech 10 boot for summer 2018 pushes the performance limit even further. While preserving the famous Alpinestars Tech 10 design, the new boot offers an altogether new approach, enhancing its ability to provide a rider with the ultimate feel, comfort, and safety.
The Alpinestars technical footwear development team focused on improving overall effectiveness, efficiency, and safety and reducing weight and product volume when redesigning the Tech 10.
About Alpinestars
Alpinestars is a household name. Yet, nothing prepared the company to become a leader in motorcycle gear when it was founded in northern Italy in the 1960s to create specialized boots for mountain sports. Instead, it has invented people’s pleasure, style, and comfort for decades.
It outfits not only the world’s greatest professional riders and the most dedicated amateurs but also its most ardent supporters in their daily lives when they proudly exhibit their best Alpinestars sweatshirts and pulled-down Alpinestars cap. So do not resist the starflower brand like so many others worldwide!
Alpinestars Tech 10 boots Details and Quality
Technology
The innovative architecture was created to allow air to flow into the boot through two inlet valves in the toe box and mesh intake material beneath the front straps. When inside, air rushes through open channels in the inner bootie’s sole to cool your feet before departing out the boot’s exhaust valves on the top and sides.

Construction
For a thinner profile, added protection, and lighter weight, the Tech 10 boots combine microfiber and hard TPU. In addition, the toe-box is narrower, which should aid with gear changes. The TPU contour around the foot shell has been changed to improve protection and reduce bulk. Despite being a single molded piece, the foot shell combines varied density materials to conserve weight and provide impact protection. For increased strength, the metallic buckles are now cold forged.
Protection
Dynamic Heel Compression Protector (DHCP) is an acronym for Dynamic Heel Compression Protector. It’s a poly-foam insert part of the boot’s heel section. DHCP is expected to take some of the pressure and lessen the severity of the injury. Aside from that, the TPU on the outer boot is meant to withstand impact and abrasion. As a result, the boot receives a CE rating.
Performance
The Alpinestars boots tech 10 is one of the most technologically advanced in motocross. However, some riders believe that the added technical features make for a rugged boot with limited mobility. The Tech 10’s complex build and lengthy break-in period are unappealing to those who prefer supple boots. They usually go for the Tech 7 because it’s more limber. They can now try the Tech 10 boots because the Supervented boots break in faster and flex more to increase footpeg communication.
Durability
Because of the perforation and increased flexibility of the Supervented boots, we thought the durability to suffer. The front edge of the toe area did suffer wear damage, which ripped the vent forward and tore the perforated front leather.
Comfort
Because the outer boot has more flex built into it, the new Alpinestars Tech 10s should be more comfortable to wear for long periods than the previous edition of the boot. Furthermore, the boot is thinner, which means less weight to drag around, converting to increased comfort.
